South Asia GSM Summit (2008)

Year 2008 was the high held year for South Asia mobile forum. South Asia mobile forum hosted ‘Telecom’s world south Asia 2008 ‘a 2 day long summit held at Radisson Water Garden from 7th October till 9th October, 2008 focusing on the market opportunities currently available at south Asia region.
The conference was chaired by Mr. Mehboob Chowdhury, Chairman, South Asia Mobile Forum. The speaker board consisted of esteemed telecom specialists like Frederick Chui, PCCW Global, Hong Kong, Tandi Wanchuk, GM, Bhutan Telecom, T R Dua, Senior Director (COAI) and many more highly honored individuals.
The panelist discussed about various facet of the market opportunities, supports needed from regulatory commission, new ventured, the prospects of telecom in south Asia and many more important topics.

The symposium ended with a high note of uplifting telecom industry in this region so that the consumers are benefit to the highest status and as well as the business arena prosper through the collective effort of operators.
