The South Asia Mobile Forum is an organization bringing together the telecommunication industry players in South Asia. Mobile Telecommunication Companies from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri-Lanka; participate in this forum with the objective to bring forth the best practices; discuss issues related to technology; bring forward market condition (demand and supply) and innovation; address telecommunication requirements of people across all segments and work for a win-win situation of all the players and consumers. The forum plays an important role in enhancing the business and quality of the services through forum discussions, conferences. Seminars, thesis papers, interviews, global news, quality standard maintenance and all other various aspects that directly and indirectly affect telecom industry. We encourage deliberation on the issues of high priority for the stake holders of the mobile telecommunication industry of the region. Thereafter presents the recommendations or feed backs to Regulators, Government Agencies and Operators from a neutral stand point for proper evaluation and consideration. Participants in this forum openly discuss their concerns regarding innovation and regulation(s) they face in the process.
